Role

We are looking for a new full-stack web developer to join our team, someone eager to take an active/leading role in our web app development. You should be able to form a strong opinion on how our web app and product should work and execute on it.The candidate needs to have solid experience in building backends and SPA frontends and have a fondness for building an end-user product. We are looking for someone who gets excited about building and operating the end-user interface of a high-stakes product.

Expectations

Our stack consists of: Go, Postgres, VueJS, Elastic Container Service & ELB (AWS). Experience with these exact languages/stacks is not required, but you must have professional experience with similar technologies to be effective in our team (SQL, containers, JS/Python/C#, Azure/GCP/Scaleway, React/Angular/Svelte).Your day-to-day work will consist of implementing new functionality, investigating and fixing bugs, responding to infrastructure alerts, and working together with other backend and browser developers. Additionally, we expect you to be involved in product design and think about how our product is used.

Team

Our development team is made up of 1 frontend developer, 2 OS driver developers, 1 browser developer, 1 backend developer, and 1 team lead (CTO/Founder) who joins in development when needed. Most of our developers work entirely remotely throughout Europe (CEST±1h). Even though our team is remote, we have an "open door" policy on Slack for video calls. We do daily stand-ups and work in development cycles of 6 weeks followed by 2 weeks of "cooldown". Within the 6 weeks of development, the developers form tiny teams that work together on 1-3 projects, depending on who needs to collaborate to get a project to production. Aside from 6 developers, our team consists of sales, marketing, and support. Our company is led by its two original founders.
